Project: photogrammetry from characterised stop motion sets.
Collaborated with a team of three animators and 3D generalists to design and build two physical, character-driven sets as part of a virtual production project showcasing. We worked across all stages of the production pipeline—from initial set design and physical fabrication to virtual projection and development—gaining hands-on experience in translating tactile environments into digital spaces. I used photogrammetry with RealityCapture to digitally reconstruct the sets for integration into Unreal Engine, developing a strong understanding of both RealityScan and RealityCapture tools. This project provided valuable insight into fast-paced production workflows and the evolving intersection of traditional and virtual techniques.
